L-SGC from aboveR- Free falling at 120mph
Well, since its a slow news day...and not much is getting posted on our blog anyway...what the heck. We've all heard the sounds and screams from above on the golf course. Well, this cub reporter on Sunday, 10-10-10, wanted to find out first hand...and what a F&#%ing rush!! SDSC Owner Volker Haag, who took me by the seat of my pants and the staff at SkyDiveSurfCity based out of Watsonville Airport were the best. How great is that to land right on the beach in our own back yard. Seascape Golf Course is a backup landing spot if ever necessary, so if you see them coming, please allow them to "play through". If any of you ever get the opportunity and want to take that "total" leap of faith, try jumping out of a perfectly good airplane over Seascape Golf Club at 12k feet. How lucky are we to live in such a beautiful place?...Scott Humphreys!
