Seascape and ASMC Board social chairman, Craig Matthews carded his second career ace yesterday on the 118 yard par-3 8th hole. He used a 9-iron to attack the red pin on the lower level. It took one hop and went right in, to the delight of his playing partners Barry Baker and Jorgen Hagglof. Craig's first H-I-O came a few years ago at Eagle Ridge.

Eddie Olson Making PGA Tour Debut This Week!
Eddie Olson, who most of you know just graduated from UNLV this past June, received a sponsor's exemption Sunday night, thanks in part to David Duvall finishing in the top 10 at yesterday's PGA Frys.com tourney at Cordevalle. Eddie is set to tee it up in the PGA Tour's Fall Series-Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals Open, which begins this Thursday in Las Vegas at the TPC Summerlin Course. It will be Eddies biggest and first PGA tour event, and know there will be a lot of folks cheering for him...in the gallery and from a far! Eddie tees off on #10 at 1:05pm Thursday and off #1 at 8:35am on Friday. Catch all four rounds of TV coverage on The Golf Channel starting at 1:30pm PST. The first place check is for $756 Thousand dollars...Good luck and Gooo Eddie!

Great Things Can Happen 60 Years Later!
Congratulations go out to long time Seascape & ASMC member Charlie May, who can be found three days a week on the course in his "classic" Tin Lizzy black Model T golf cart. He carded his first ever hole-in-one today, since taking up the game some 60 years ago. That magic moment came at the 118 yard, Par 3-12th hole. Charlie used his new 5-wood! Rumor has it he got in to his playing partners wallets, a little better than on most days! For those of you out there that have yet to get that H-I-O, let Charlie be a lesson that good things do come, if you don't give up!

No Slow Play Here
L-SGC from above
R- Free falling at 120mph
R- Free falling at 120mph
Well, since its a slow news day...and not much is getting posted on our blog anyway...what the heck. We've all heard the sounds and screams from above on the golf course. Well, this cub reporter on Sunday, 10-10-10, wanted to find out first hand...and what a F&#%ing rush!! SDSC Owner Volker Haag, who took me by the seat of my pants and the staff at SkyDiveSurfCity based out of Watsonville Airport were the best. How great is that to land right on the beach in our own back yard. Seascape Golf Course is a backup landing spot if ever necessary, so if you see them coming, please allow them to "play through". If any of you ever get the opportunity and want to take that "total" leap of faith, try jumping out of a perfectly good airplane over Seascape Golf Club at 12k feet. How lucky are we to live in such a beautiful place?...Scott Humphreys!
