Geisick, Staniford, Nicholson, Marshall Win Cha-Cha-Cha

Ray Geisick, Dick Staniford, Russ Nicholson and Jack Marshall won the nifty Cha-Cha-Cha tournament in March.

John Reisdorf, Jorgen Hagglof, Jerry Woods and John MacDonald took second place, followed by Jon Ebbs, Louis Brennan, Paul McGillicuddy and Mike Howley.

Halward, Doerr, May Win Flights in February "39"

Bill Halward scored a +1 to win the First Flight of the "39" tournament in February, while Rodd Doerr won the Second Flight and Charlie May walked away with the Third Flight.

The "39" format has each player establish a number based on adding their handicap to -39 and then assigning points to eagles, birdies, pars and bogeys with the aim of getting to zero or above.

Bob McCormick took second in the First Flight, followed by Brandt Wilson, John Reisdorf, Tom McNary and Phil Dick.

In the Second Flight, Jim Geesman came in second, followed by Danny Braga, Gary Paul, Jorgen Hagglof and Ed Arredondo.

Third Flight finishers after May were John Cranston, Jack Wirth, Dick Staniford, Mike Howley and Marty Kendrick.

Closest-to-the-pin honors on No. 8 went to John Reisdorf, Bill Hlaward and Marty Kendrick. On No. 12, winners were Rodd Doerr, John Peterson and Tom McNary.

Christenson Ace in the Friday Game

Josh Christenson, the great young player who also tends bar at Seascape, knocked it in with a 9-iron to a blue pin on No. 12. Way to go Josh!

Sanny and Wilson Win the January Tournament; Paz and Halward, Baker and Matthews Qualify for NCGA

Brian Sanny and Brandt Wilson won the First Flight in the January two-man, best-ball tournament, but the qualifiers for the NCGA Four Ball were Frank Paz and Bill Halward, who were second in the First Flight, and Barry Baker and Craig Matthews, who won the Second Flight.

The four qualifiers will represent Seascape in the NCGA tournament.

David Webb and John MacDonald took third in the First Flight, followed by Joe Torrente and Kurt Stephens and then Garth Watrous and John Hadley.

Charlie May and Jeff Collins were runners up in the Second Flight, followed by Jack Marshall and Russ Nicholson; Ben DeMarco and Don Bonnel, and Glen Taylor and Don Schwartz.

Closest to the pin honors went to Jerry Woods on No. 8, followed by Phil Dick and David Webb. On No. 12, it was Mike Oliver, followed by Tim Guhin and Russ Nicholson.

Doerr, Driggs, Frock and Baer Win December Mixer

Rod Doerr, Bruce Driggs, Dave Frock and Therese Baer walked away with top honors in the December Holiday Mixer with member of the Seagals women's golf group.

Charlie May, Jeff Collins, Bob and Lani Gadsby took second place, followed by Josh Christenson, Ben DeMarco, Phil Trounstine and Anita Sciutto.

Ray Geisick, Bob McCormick, Sick Staniford and Juanita Dagdag took fourth, followed by David Webb, Chris Carless, Jeon Johnson and Lois Webb. Capturing sixth were Rich and Theresa Richardson, Neil Hendricks and John MacDonald.

Sid Martin and Garth Watrous took closest to the pin on No. 8 for the men and David Webb and Rodd Doerr took No. 12.

For the women it was Jude Waage on No. 8 and Ginger Ramsey on No. 12.

Double Eagle on No. 18 -- Harder than a Hole in One

Congratulations to Scott Humphreys, one of the most dedicated keepers of the ASMC flame, who holed a 5-wood on his second shot on the par-5 18th hole. The shot was from about 200 yards, which also means Scotty also hit a super drive on the soggy fairway.

Hallbauer, Fennel Win the November Turkey Shoot

Robert Hallbauer and Bob Fennell won the November Turkey Shoot with a score of 58, followed by Bob Twaddle and Glenn Taylor at 59 and Don Bonnel and Don Schwarts, also at 59.

Danny Braga and Leon Johnson took fourth at 60, which was also the score posted by Garth and Gary Watrous.

Bill White and John Mays posted 61, followed by Jorgen Hagglof and Jerry Woods at 62 and Gary Paul and Jim Baker, also at 62.

John Reisdorf won closest to the pin on No. 8, followed by David Webb and Jerry Woods.

Bob Norton was closest on No. 12, followed by Tom McNary and Jeff Scaletti.
