Eagle For A Swan

Congratulations go out to Kirk Swan who had his FIRST ever Eagle this past Saturday, December 26th at Spring Hills GC in Watsonville. That magical moment came on the par 4, 8th hole from 125 yards out, with a choked down 8-iron. You can usually find Kirk playing at Seascape every Monday. Kirk will be forever remembered, along with the rest of our members over the years, on our ASMC “Hole-In-One” plaques…having already aced both the 6th & 12th holes. Let the magic continue!

Albatross for Joe Torrente

ASMC good guy Joe Torrente had an albatross today on the 436 yard, Par-5 18th hole. He went Driver-7 iron and thought it looked good. Once on the green, Joe went straight to the hole to take a look. His two other playing partners who witnessed the event was our President Paul Sanders, and his son Bryan Bourke. The Black Cat karma must be working for Joe, who has been feeding ( Little Gary ) the black cat who likes to hang out around the 5th tee box. Congratulations Joe!
